Travelling can be both an enjoyable and a challenging experience. “Dad, I have
to go to Norwich tomorrow for my firm. Do you think it would be best to go straight
from Romford Station or from Liverpool Street.? It will take half an hour to get
to Liverpool Street but trains might run more frequently to Norwich from there,”
asked my youngest son. We discussed the relative merits of both approaches. However
on the day of his travel Jonathan found he had a bigger problem than he thought.
The whole of ‘One’ Railways was running with serious delays as far north as Ipswich.
He decided to decide when he got to Romford station.
The ultimate journey each of us must make is from time into eternity. It is a mercy
that none of us know which day we are going to make that last journey on. None of
us, except the Lord Jesus Christ. In the first Holy Week leading up to the first
Easter Jesus knew He was going back to Heaven via the terminus of a most violent

this way - 21 When Jesus had thus spoken, he was troubled in spirit, and testified,
"Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me." 22 The disciples looked
at one another, uncertain of whom he spoke. 23 One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved,

"Tell us who it is of whom he speaks."25 So lying thus, close to the breast of
