Here at the Bible Text Publicity Mission we know that the Bible is God’s Word. Not only does each book have a human author such as Moses, Matthew or Paul, but it has a Divine Author. Paul tells us - 16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Tim 3:16-17 RSV). Peter tells us that - 21no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation.21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21 ASV). We believe that the text as originally given is infallible and that the texts and translations we have today were preserved in the copying by God the Holy Spirit so that they are absolutely trustworthy in all teaching about personal salvation.
